The problem
First notice of loss arrives as a mix of forms, photos, and emails. Adjusters retype claimant, policy, date of loss, and amounts before they can tell whether required fields are even present.
How the workflow runs
Submit the claim packet
The hosted desk collects the packet and claim details. That submit is the start of the run.
Extract claim fields
An extract agent pulls claimant, policy, date of loss, amounts, and the other fields present in the packet.
Run policy checks
A validate step compares those fields with typical policy requirements and flags gaps for the adjuster. It prepares the file. It does not issue a coverage decision.
What the hosted app shows
Operators upload a packet, enter claim details, and follow status on the hosted desk. Results show the extracted table and the documents side by side.
Who it is for
Claims operations and adjusters who intake packets and need policy gaps flagged before they spend time on the file.
Questions
It extracts fields and flags missing or inconsistent policy data. Coverage decisions stay with the adjuster. Add a review step when a person must record that decision on the run.
Claims intake is aimed at insurance packets. Patient record extraction is the starter for clinical demographics, history, and results.
